Summary:

Agent 3.0.2 is a big release with almost 20 deliverable items including several high-priority and critical feature requests. The highlight of the release is the ability of the user to automatically classify unclassified attachments based on email and the inclusion of light-dark mode. Other features include enabling the user to change the name of a button in the toolbar, forcing the user to select the tags if binary, and disabling server address. From this version of the agent, we also support .xlsb files and selective visual marking on excel sheets.

New Features:

Auto-Classify received attachments as part of Forward/Reply workflow

• Using this new feature users will now be able to automatically classify any unclassified attachments based on the classification of email. The new property “autoClassifyUnclassifiedAttachments”: true should be added in the outlook configuration and then users will not have to worry about unclassified attachments. Please refer to the demo video for details.

Show spinner during handling of outlook send checks

• A spinner will be shown to user that attachments are getting auto classified, its like Work in progress visual for the user.

Light-Dark Mode

• User can now see the agent UI and warning messages in either light or dark mode. An easy toggle switch on the configuration page and option to set default mode in the installerconfig is also provided.

Add option to enforce the user to select a Compliance Category or Classification

• If any tags like classification/compliance are binary user can add the property “required”: =true inside the tag configuration to make it mandatory for user.

GV in Toolbar - Option to Change "Classification" text to any value

• This feature will enable user to customise the text Classification in toolbar to any text as required. New property "ribbonTitlePrefix": "AnyName" should be added in expert mode to change the name in toolbar.

Minimise the max space taken by GV Button in the MS Office Ribbon

• The feature for added for a one particular client who has many classification and when multiple classification is selected in binary mode the GV Button was showing lot of information. We have reduced it to show only one classification with rest of information shown in hover over.

Separate Server address with other configuration options like Language and Visual Style

• Admins do not have to worry about end user changing the server address. Using the “blockServerAddressEdit”: true, the server address in configuration will be disabled and user can still use other options like changing language or switching between light-dark mode.

Bug-Fixes:

• Company Logo is being removed when classifying a Word document.

• Classification in Excel failing after Overwrite/Append popup

• Classification not working for Excel binary files (XLSB)

  • Added support to classify .xlsb files.

• Large excel with multiple sheets is slow

  • Visual labels when applying to multiple tabs in excel was making it slow, the applyContentFromSheetNo and applyContentToSheetNo will enable the user to select which sheets user wants to apply visual labels to.

• Agent Installer: Provide functionality to disable UI autostart after installation/upgrade

  • Use command: msiexec /i “path_to_msi.msi” LAUNCHAGENT=0

• Multiple Winword.exe instances are running in the background

• 32 bit OS incompatibility - 3.0.0

• EAR_(Mil/Space) and EAR_(Other): Marking in footer wraps before the edge of the page and is partially below the printable page area for PPT

• Ribbon not enabled in some cases

• AgentUI: Disappearing classify button

Know Issues:

• We have received a new logo for Forcepoint the Light we will update it in next version, as of know its not visible clearly

• Dark mode of Sealpath needs to be updated, we are waiting for confirmation from their end. After auto-update the agent should be in light-mode by default - if there are issues with that, the user open configuration window, switch to light mode and save.

• The Buttons in System Generated Dialog boxes are still in English, in future release we are customise all the dialog boxes and them the buttons can also be changed to Arabic.
