📂 Enhanced Data Accessibility with "Last Access Date"

Feature Overview: We have introduced a new column titled "Last Accessed" in the File Explore page, mirroring the functionality of the existing "Last Modified" column. This feature currently supports SMB connectors, allowing users to keep track of the most recent access times for better file management and auditing.

Why It's Important for You:

Before: There was no easy way to determine the most recent access date for files, complicating monitoring and audit processes.
After: This new field provides clear insights into file usage patterns, aiding in more accurate monitoring and compliance reporting.

🔍 Introduction of EXISTS and NO_EXISTS GQL Functions

Feature Overview: We have introduced two new functions, EXISTS and NO_EXISTS, in our GetVisibility Query Language (GQL). These functions enable users to efficiently run operations to determine the presence or absence of specific attributes or conditions within documents.

Why It's Important for You:

Before: Users had limited means to filter files based on the presence of certain attributes, like ownership, regex or detector hits, and third-party labels.
After: The EXISTS function allows users to easily query and retrieve documents that contain specific attributes or conditions, such as files with an owner, regex matches, or third-party labels like MS AIP. The NO_EXISTS function, conversely, helps users identify documents that lack particular attributes. For example, users can now filter and find all files that do not have a Risk attribute calculated.

Examples:

• Use EXISTS to find all documents with an owner.

• Use NO_EXISTS to show all files that lack a specific attribute, like Risk or Sensitivity.

• Query files with third-party labels, such as MS AIP labels, using EXISTS.

🔧 Webhooks for EDC

Feature Overview: EDC (Endpoint Data Classification) now supports webhooks, enabling seamless integration with SIEM systems and empowering users to create automated workflows that respond to events in real-time.

Why It's Important for You:

Before: Integrating EDC events with third-party systems required manual intervention, complicating monitoring and response processes.
After: With webhooks, EDC can automatically send events to third-party systems such as SIEM for real-time monitoring. This feature also enhances our Controls Orchestration, allowing policies to be enforced more dynamically. Additionally, customers can choose to send all agent events to tools like PowerBI for advanced data analysis and visualisation.

Examples:

• Integrate EDC with SIEM systems to monitor endpoint events in real-time.

• Use webhooks in Controls Orchestration to enforce security policies based on real-time events.

• Send all EDC agent events to PowerBI for comprehensive data analysis and reporting.

🔄 Optimised Scanning Processes - Cancel Scan Button

Feature Overview: We’ve added a "Cancel Scan" button to give users more control over their scanning operations, allowing for immediate termination of ongoing scans.

Why It Matters for You:

Before: Users previously lacked the ability to stop a scan once initiated, potentially wasting time and resources. Cancelling a scan required running a special command in a terminal, which was cumbersome and less user-friendly.
After: The Cancel Scan button provides greater flexibility and control, enabling users to halt scans as needed directly from the product UI, thereby saving time and improving resource management.

Examples:

If a customer initiates a scan over terabytes of data and needs to stop it, they can now easily cancel the scan through the UI. This eliminates the need to refer to documentation and execute special commands via SSH, making the process much more efficient and user-friendly.

Feature Overview: We have introduced a feature that allows users to group data by any field within the table widget, enabling more sophisticated data categorisation and analysis. It brings the benefits of:

• Improved Data Visibility: Grouping data by selected fields offers clearer insights and more organised data presentation.

• Enhanced Analysis Capabilities: By segmenting data based on relevant fields, users can perform more detailed and meaningful analyses.

Why It Matters:

Before: Users had limited options for segmenting table data, restricting their ability to customise views and analyse data effectively.
After: With the Group by Field feature, users can now group table data by specific fields, enhancing flexibility in data interactions. This allows for more customised data views and facilitates better data segmentation and analysis.

Examples:

Whether you need to categorise data by department, project, or any other relevant field, this feature allows you to tailor the table widget to your specific needs. This enhancement is particularly useful for complex datasets where segmented views can lead to better decision-making and more efficient data management.

📊 Chart Widget Enhancement: Order Data on Charts

Feature Overview: We have introduced a new feature that allows users to order data within the chart widget, providing clearer visual insights and enhanced data presentation.

After: With the new ordering feature, users can now sort chart data in ascending or descending order, making it easier to identify trends and patterns.
