Summary

In the spirit of continuous improvement, we're thrilled to announce major enhancements to the Getvisibility Focus Dashboard. With this update, we're launching a redesigned Connections page and a fully integrated Permissions Page in the Explore section, offering a seamless experience for our users. In addition, we're introducing minor UI improvements and more column options on the Explore page, enhancing the data view, and ease of navigation.

New Features & Issues Fixed

1. New Connections Page UI and UX: We're transitioning from the old UI layout to a more intuitive and user-friendly interface. The redesigned Connections page now houses tagging under each connection's tab, providing a more streamlined look and feel. With the addition of a search function for each connection and pagination for all connections, users can now effortlessly navigate even with hundreds or thousands of connections. We've replaced the old wizard with a modal window for simplified creation of connections, and a new Folder Tree View component has been added to enhance folder navigation.

2. Migrated Permissions Page Functionality To Explore: The Permissions Page functionality has now been integrated into the Explore page. This upgrade allows you to search for permissions directly from the Explore page without having to navigate away, now it is opening in a new modal window for better user convenience. Users can now search by a user via our filters for easy access to data permissions. Support for GQL queries is also available, simply use the "Trustee IDs" filter in GQL to search by a user.
   
   

    

3. Minor UI Improvements: Several UI tweaks have been made to the Explore page for an improved user experience. These include: Displaying file size in KBs, MBs, GBs, changing date formats to a human-readable format, and displaying classification confidences as a decimal rounded to 2 digits.
   
   

4. More Columns for Explore Page: New columns have been added to the Explore page to provide more detailed insights about your files. The new columns include: Classification Confidence, Category Confidence, Subcategory Confidence (indicating the level of confidence in file classification), Configuration ID (Unique identifier of the scan configuration), File Size, File ID (Unique identifier for each file), MD5 (Hash of the file path for unique identification), Ingested Time (Timestamp indicating when file information was saved to our database).
   
   

    

5. New Connector Request Feature: Exciting news for Getvisibility Focus users! We've now introduced a feature that allows you to request new connectors. Choose from a list of nearly 400 connectors and request the ones you need to be deployed in your environment. Please note that this feature is currently only available for Getvisibility Focus customers, and will be available to OEM customers later.
   
   

    

6. File Reclassification Feature: Our latest addition is the ability to reclassify individual files or files in bulk. Users can now select files from checkboxes on the Explore page and send them for reclassification. This feature is particularly useful when testing new patterns or a new model on specific files.
