Synergy Mac Agent - Installation Guide
This documentation page will guide you through the process of installing the Synergy Mac Agent on a Mac computer. Please follow the steps below to ensure a smooth installation experience.

Prerequisites
Before you start the installation process, please make sure you meet the following prerequisites:
Supported Operating System: Ensure that you have a compatible Mac operating system. The Synergy Mac agent (Alpha version) supports macOS 10.15 (Catalina), 11 (Big Sur), , 12 (Monterey), 13 (Ventura) and 14 (Sonoma).
System Requirements: Verify that the Mac machine meets the minimum system requirements for running the Synergy Mac agent (Alpha version). These include:
Processor: Intel Core i5 or Apple M1
Memory: 4GB RAM
Disk Space: 500MB free space
Administrator Privileges: Make sure you have administrator privileges, as you'll need them to install and configure the Synergy Mac agent.
.NET Framework: Make sure .NET 6 installed - https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/6.0 .
Office Version: Office 365 subscription plans
Download Synergy Mac Agent: Download the latest version of Synergy Mac agent from Registry2. Make sure to download the right version for the target machine:
*-apple.pkg - for Apple M1/M2 Chips
*-intel.pkg - for Intel Chips
Agent Installation
Follow the steps below to install the Synergy Mac Agent:
Run the installer: Double-click the installer file to launch the installation process. If you are prompted for administrator credentials, enter the admin username and password to continue.
Newer versions of MacOS will block unsigned or not notarized apps. In order to run the installer please follow this steps: https://support.apple.com/uide/mac-help/mh40616/mac
Mac Agent Installer
Installation: The wizard will guide you through the installation process. You will be prompted twice to enter admin password.
Installation Complete: Once the installation is complete, the agent icon will pop up on the menu bar.
Configuration: Right-click on the tray and click ‘Configuration…’. In the server address field enter the cluster name and click ‘SAVE’.
