When we onboard a new customer, the following steps must be followed:

Quick Links

Step 1: Conduct Workshop and POC with the potential customer.

Conducting workshops and POCs for any potential clients will be the first thing done after the initial conversation. Refer to the link below for a thorough explanation of how to set up POC and workshops.

Lab documentation to setup workshop in go4labs can be found here: https://www.go4labs.net/docs/device_library/forcepoint_classification
There are two options to use these new devices:

  1. Create a new lab from a template: Forcepoint Data classification

  2. Refresh your lab devices and select the new Forcepoint Classification device

Any additional details can be found in the document link attached below.

Step 4: Keyclock and Active Directory

Once the product is fully deployed and all pods are up and running, we need to configure authentication.

The below document outlines the steps necessary to configure authentication, create users and even connect to LDAP to allow end-users to log in to the product UI with their AD credentials:

Step 5: FP support follow up

Once the basic deployment is completed sales engineers need to follow up with FP support(support.forcepoint.com) and finish the installation on FP side.

Step 6: Getting .MSI file for Agent

After the above steps are completed, you can get the .msi file for latest version of agent. This file can be found in https://www.go4labs.net/docs/device_library/forcepoint_classification as of now.

It can also be found in https://support.forcepoint.com/s/download.

If you are not sure about getting the latest version, do not hesitate to contact FP at support.forcepoint.com

Step 7: Deployment of Agent

After configuring authentication and access to the product, you need to deploy the agent software.

Our agent is packaged in an installation file and can be deployed manually or via management tools like SCCM.
